Government Property Group selects Blue Mountains Campus as first regional hub

Government Property Group has selected our Blue Mountain’s Campus project in Upper Hutt as the first site for their regional hub initiative.

The initiative is designed to bring public services and public servants closer to the communities they serve, whilst reducing commuter congestion and carbon emissions, and creating a more resilient public sector by strengthening business continuity.

The campus is located in a very resilient part of the region, with a low-risk profile for shaking and liquefaction, and a zero-risk profile for flooding, slope failure, or tsunami.

Construction is now underway, with Stage 1 works due to be revealed in mid-2023 and both Kiwirail and MBIE confirmed as tenants.

Willis Bond continues to work closely with Government Property Group to curate the regional hub for other key Government agencies and corporates.
