Free Ambulance Building

Adaptive reuse of a heritage building for office and hospitality use, Wellington

Designed by Architect William Turnbull and built in 1930, this art deco building was the former headquarters of the Wellington Free Ambulance service. Having fallen into significant disrepair, the building was purchased by Willis Bond in 2004 and restored and refurbished for use as commercial premises.
