215 Lamton Quay

Office and retail development on Wellington’s Golden Mile

Willis Bond redeveloped 215 Lambton Quay in 2014. Now known as Grant Thornton House, the building comprises 15 floors of contemporary office space above 1,900 square metres of attractive ground-floor retail units that open onto both Lambton Quay and Featherston Street.

The southern approach to the building, which formerly housed public toilets, has been redefined through a double-height bull-nose addition. This unique retail space houses Nespresso’s flagship Wellington store. Other retail tenants include ANZ, Columbus Coffee, Hartleys and Ziera Shoes.

The 15-floor office tower has been fully upgraded to create contemporary office spaces with views across the city and harbour. The building’s seismic performance is in excess of 100% of the New Building Standard. Commercial tenants include ANZ, Grant Thornton, and the Environmental Protection Authority.

Project completed, 2014
