One Market Lane

Residential development in the heart of Wellington’s historic Taranaki Wharf Precinct

Designed by Studio Pacific Architecture, One Market Lane is a premium residential development in the heart of Wellington’s historic Taranaki Wharf Precinct.

The building occupies a unique island site on the edge of the capital’s beautiful waterfront. It was formerly home to Wellington’s Wakefield Markets’ building (built in 1910 and demolished in 2008) and where the development and new adjacent slip lane derive their names from.

The 42 high-specification apartments on the six upper floors benefit from exceptional natural light and expansive water and city views. Amenities include secure car parking, a gym and cinema, and cafe on the ground floor.

The lower levels and ground floor consist of over 3,000 square metres of office and retail space. Levels 1-3 house Trade Me’s flagship offices and the ground floor is home to a busy Mojo cafe, and McNamara Research.

Sitting alongside the fully restored and refurbished Xero House, One Market Lane is an iconic addition to the city’s skyline and completes this prominent section of the urban landscape, where the city meets the waterfront.

Project completed, 2015
