Grant Thornton House at 215 Lambton Quay now comprises 1,900 square metres of retail space and 9,900 square metres of office premises in a recently completed refurbishment by Willis Bond.
The ground floor retail space has been refurbished and reconfigured to create a variety of high stud retail spaces opening on to Lambton Quay and Featherston Street. The southern approach to the building, which formerly housed public toilets, has been redefined through a double-height bull-nose addition. This unique retail space has been leased by Nespresso and houses their flagship Wellington store.
Other retail tenants include ANZ, The Body Shop, Columbus Coffee, Wellington Photographic, Walker & Hall and Ziera Shoes.
The 15 floor office tower has been fully upgraded to create contemporary office spaces with views across the city and harbour. The building’s seismic performance is in excess of 100% of the New Building Standard.
Current tenants include ANZ, Grant Thornton, Optimation, Maven and the Environmental Protection Authority.
