Our new Cuba Precinct development delivers 2,250 square metres of new ground floor retail space and 4,700 square metres of character commercial office space in Wellington's most vibrant quarter.
This section of the Cuba Precinct spans three iconic neighbouring buildings, 94-102 Cuba Street (known as the Farmers Building) and 104 & 106 Cuba Street, all of which will be strengthened to 100% NBS and refurbished.
At ground level, the three buildings will offer a number of premium new retail units fronting onto Cuba Street.
The upper floors offer expansive open-plan office floors – approximately 2,425 square metres on Level 1 and 2,275 square metres on Level 2, which can be leased together, individually or potentially sub-divided into smaller spaces.
The Cuba Precinct forms the second stage of a wider Willis Bond & Co regeneration project. This proposed scheme represents the largest development site in Wellington. The entire block from 106 Cuba Street to Dixon Street and bordered by Victoria Street to the west, proposed to be redeveloped into a master-planned mixed-use district.
The first stage is now complete and delivered Whitireia WelTec’s state-of-the-art Te Auaha performing arts campus and 1,000 square metres of premium ground floor retail space, which is fully tenanted by Barkers Mens Clothing, Cotton On and Vodafone.
Later stages of the project are proposed to see the Victoria Street side of the block, behind the original Farmers Building and Te Auaha campus, developed into new mixed-use buildings which are likely to have commercial, retail and residential components.
