Panasonic joins Blue Mountains Campus in new office suite offering
Panasonic has chosen Blue Mountains Campus as the new home for its regional team, leasing one of the campus’ new office suites, which cater to smaller teams looking for high quality office space.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Panasonic to Blue Mountains Campus, and to launch our new office suite product,” says Ros Luxford, from Willis Bond, developer of the campus.
“Panasonic’s inquiry was really the impetus for us to deliver the campus office suites. It reinforced feedback we’d received that it’s hard to find quality smaller office space in the area, and we wanted to meet this need,” she says.
Located on Level 2 of the 5 Green Star Nga Toka | Buddle Building, and ready to occupy from this September, the campus office suites are flexible spaces that can be configured for teams of 4 – 50.
The leasing package includes use of shared meeting rooms, kitchen, and end-of-trip facilities with secure bike storage, showers and changing rooms, all set within the green park-like grounds of the campus, which also hosts a great onsite cafe.
“We needed a better space for our team, and Blue Mountains Campus has ticked all the boxes,” says Panasonic’s General Manager for Sales, Brad Dexter.
“We’re really excited to base our team here – the building is top quality and the campus amenity is a world apart from everything we else we looked at. It’s great to be able to lease a small space and know we don’t have to compromise on quality,” he says.
Panasonic joins cyber innovation experts Silicon Systems Ltd, which have also chosen to make Blue Mountains Campus home, having leased a larger 400sqm tenancy, also on Level 2 of the Buddle Building.
“It’s great to have attracted forward-thinking businesses like Silicon and Panasonic to the campus, and we are keen to hear from other small teams looking for quality office space in the Hutt Valley – we have some great spaces to choose from,” say Luxford.
“We also have 850sqm of flexible commercial office space available on Level 3 of the Buddle Building if there are businesses out there looking for more space with great outlook and amenity,” she says.
Located at 68 Ward Street, Upper Hutt on one of Wellington's most resilient sites, Blue Mountains Campus is already home to KiwiRail and MBIE. The site’s super resilient profile, park-like setting, onsite amenity and proximity to public transport options are all key factors that helped these major tenants choose the campus as their new base.
