The Sunderland Hangar at Willis Bond & Co's, Catalina Bay development was awarded the gold pin in the re-purposed spaces category at the Best Awards on Friday night.
The Sunderland Hangar was re-purposed into a functional, design-led commercial space which is now home to Lion’s Little Creatures and The Hangar, co-working office space. The Sunderland Hangar was initially used as an old repair depot for Walrus seaplanes and later in life it serviced the RNZAF’s giant Sunderland seaplanes.
A beautifully re-purposed space that pays homage to it’s heritage. Congratulation to the entire project team including:
